Gaming computers, custom gaming computers, gaming pc, custom gaming pc.

It’s been 3 weeks now with my new custom built gaming rig built by Digital Storm, a business that custom builds high-end custom gaming rigs. I know I wrote a blog about this company in the past, but I never actually dealt with them, or had a system built by them until just recently. Let me tell you about my experience.

So I ordered a system from Digital Storm, in a nutshell, my system has a core i7 930 processor, which is overclocked to 3.8 G Hz. It has an EVGA X58 LE SLI motherboard, a Creative Xi-fi Xtreem Gamer 7.1 sound card, 6 gigs of high performance RAM, Nvidia’s GeForce 480 GTX graphics card, an upgraded cooling system (for the overclocked processor), and a Cooler Master Storm Sniper case. I basically had this system built with the objective of being able to play any game in its highest settings, period. This system does just that as if it were still in idle mode.

I cannot tell you how powerful this system is, I can tell you that just for kicks, I ran a Spybot Search and Destroy scan, a Microsoft Security Essentials scan, and streamed a video from You Tube, and then checked the usage of the processor in the performance section of the task manager. After running all those programs simultaneously, I still only was using 4% of my processor. I also installed Crysis, which is a game that is known to really tax any system, and I set everything on its highest settings, and it played flawlessly (something few systems can do).

As for the customer service part of dealing with Digital Storm, I have never seen anything quite like it. They were in contact with me in every stage of the building process. They kept me informed of where my system was in its building and testing phase. Any question I had, they answered immediately. The best way I can describe dealing with them is that it felt like I was the only customer they had. It’s no wonder they have an A+ rating with the BBB.

The bottom line is this. If you are looking for a company to custom build your system, look no farther. There is no reason to go any where else. Digital Storm has surpassed every expectation I had, and I cannot be any happier with them, and with my new high-performance beast they built for me.

Welcome to Aces High

Welcome to Aces High.

I have been playing a game called FlyAcesHigh.com on and off for several years now, and have just completely fell in love with the game.  If you enjoy flight simulator games and combat games based on WW II equipment; you will absolutely love this game.

The visuals are excellent and the planes are very detailed along with excellent physics all around.  You can drive tanks, jeeps, personnel carriers, and many other vehicles that served in WWII.  You can fly fighters, bombers and tons of other airplanes from all sides of the war.  There planes are scale models of the real thing, and each plane mimics the real thing in awesome detail.

You can take part in missions of all kinds, or simply duel with other planes.  This is a paid subscription game but you do get a 2 week trial, and you will fall in love with the game well before the two weeks are over.  Trust me.

Hats off the the creators of this game, you have a paid subscriber for life.  Four hours in this game feels like 20 minutes.
